No more medication worries for mum with early dementia

The BEST reminder for Mum who "thinks she has taken her meds"! As long as they recognise the alarm and don't try to open the dispenser BEFORE the alarm goes off it works marvellously. Alleviates a HUGE amount of stress.
Now all I have to do is get the pharmacy to fill it and have the tiny tab she takes changed to a larger one as it sometimes gets stuck under the lid.

No more double dosing!

The Medforte automatic medication dispenser has been a great purchase - value for money and pretty easy to use. I no longer have to worry about my elderly mother taking too much medication or forgetting to take it or take it at the wrong time.

My feedback to improve is to have a label on the top reminding to "turn device over to stop the alarm, then slide open --> " and adding a bright colour and arrow to the slide compartment.
I recommend either removing or using a smaller, less obvious font to the PRESS label to open - as my mother was frequently trying to dispense meds by pressing rather than sliding open the "door".
I also found it difficult to locate the key into the lock position and turn it. - it seems to slip out of place.
